WAYNESBURG, Pa. (July 25) – Prior to the 2010 season, tight end
Adam Moses was a rather unknown commodity. However, after a breakout sophomore campaign, the 6-4, 250-pounder drew plenty of attention to himself and now one of the top college football publications in the country has taken notice.
Moses was recently named a first-team preseason All-American selection by Lindy's magazine after leading the Yellow Jackets in catches (37) and touchdown catches (7), while piling up 431 receiving yards. The Fairview Park, Ohio native was honored as a first-team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) pick and a first-team D3football.com 2010 All-South Region pick following his breakout 2010 campaign.
Moses is the team's first All-American since Scott Cree was lauded as a 2009 first-team preseason pick by D3Football.com. The Jackets open up the 2011 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 3, with a road trip to Newport News, Va. to take on Christopher Newport. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
