End of women's tennis match delayed by darkness

Waynesburg and W&J locked in 4-4 tie at time of postponement

WASHINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team battled Washington & Jefferson to a 4-4 tie before darkness postponed the end of the match on Wednesday.

It was the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener for both schools, and the deciding match at fifth singles is being rescheduled to determine the final outcome. Waynesburg was 1-0 going into the match and it was the season opener for the Presidents.
