WEXFORD, Pa. (Mar. 2) – The Waynesburg University men's basketball team saw two of its own earn the honor of being named to the All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Basketball teams.
Sophomore point guard Ben Altmeyer and junior forward Jeff Young were named honorable-mention picks.
Altmeyer ended the 2009-2010 season ranked ninth in the conference in steals, averaging 1.63 swipes per game. He was also third on the team with 8.4 points per game. Altmeyer closed the year as the third-leading rebounder on the Waynesburg men's team with 4.0 boards per game.
Young finished the 2009-2010 season leading the Yellow Jackets in points and rebounds per game, despite only playing the second half of the season. The Washington, D.C. native averaged 9.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
Grove City senior center Andy O'Keefe was named 2010 PAC Player of the Year. Grove City head coach Steve Lamie was named the 2010 PAC Coach of the Year.
