Ebersole honored by national coaching organization

Junior forward picks up all-region nod from NSCAA

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Dec.14) – Waynesburg University junior women's soccer player Courtney Ebersole recently added another award to her personal collection after an outstanding 2010 season.

Ebersole was named a third-team selection to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Performance Subaru Division III Great Lakes Region team for 2010. The East Berlin, Pa. native picked up the award after finishing the year ranked fifth in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in total points (27) and goals (12). Both of those totals also ranked Ebersole first on the Jackets. Earlier this year, Ebersole was honored as a first-team All-PAC pick. For a complete look at all of the NSCAA honorees, click here.

Thanks in part to the standout forward's work, Waynesburg posted a 10-6-3 overall record, which was the team's first winning mark this decade and its highest win total since at least 2001.
