Junior second baseman Wes White, Jr. was honored as a first-team selection to the All-PAC Baseball Team for the second-straight season.

WEXFORD, Pa. (May 12) – After following up a stellar sophomore season with an even better junior campaign, second baseman Wes White Jr was named a first-team honoree to the All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Baseball Team on Tuesday morning.

It was the second-straight year that White was bestowed the honor. He was joined on the All-PAC teams by freshman catcher Brendan Scioscia, who was a second-team honoree.

White, who was also a preseason D3Baseball.com All-American, led the Yellow Jackets in batting average (.438), slugging percentage (.623), on-base percentage (.536), hits (64), homeruns (3), stolen bases (28) and total bases (91).

He also led the PAC in triples (5) and walks (28), while finishing the regular season tied for fourth in all NCAA Divisions with 1.64 runs scored per game.

In his first year behind the plates for the Jackets, Scioscia had one of the finest offensive seasons for a Waynesburg catcher in recent memory.

He finished fifth on the team with a .362 batting average, and ranked in the top five of eight other offensive categories.

The Gibsonia native also threw out the third most batters trying to steal in the PAC (8).
