Waynesburg places 28 student-athletes on honor roll

WEXFORD, Pa. (June 13) – A total of 28 Waynesburg University student-athletes, representing three winter and seven spring sports, have been named to the Spring 2008 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll, announced the league office on Friday.
The PAC recognized a total 316 student-athletes this semester, marking a 9.3 percent increase over last year’s total of 280 recipients. To be eligible for the academic honor, student-athletes must have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.
Since the fall of 2001, Waynesburg has placed a total of 446 student-athletes on the PAC Academic Honor Roll (fall, spring).
