WASHINGTON, Pa. (Nov. 14) – The Yellow Jacket football team kept it close with 20th-ranked Washington & Jefferson on Saturday, but the Presidents, who were playing for a spot in the NCAA Division III tournament, turned it on in the second half and took the game 35-12.

Elisha Jones
Women's Basketball
Jones averaged a team-high 19 points per game for Waynesburg his past week. Her 22 points against Bethany not only led all scorers in that contest, but it was also the top individual scoring performance for a Waynesburg player this season. Jones also averaged three rebounds and an impressive 3.5 blocks per contest.

Wrestling
Byerly picked up Waynesburg’s biggest bout win during a 21-16 loss to West Liberty State, the 12th-ranked team in Division II. The sophomore beat Mitch Smith, the number-two ranked 149-pounder in Division II, by 6-5 decision. Byerly has now won six of his last seven bouts,
