Jackets Close Season Against Alumni

WAYNESBURG, PA (April. 5) - The Jackets will again play host to the returning Waynesburg Alumni in one of the most anticipated matches each season this upcoming Saturday, April 10th at 3pm in the Rudy Marisa Field House. A collection of alumni spanning close to 7 years of team history will return to Waynesburg University in an attempt to repeat last years winning performance while this year's current Jacket squad is still looking for its first win against the Alumni in program history.

Waynesburg to Play Host to Inaugural POVL Cross-Over Quad Matches

WAYNESBURG, PA (Mar. 4) - Waynesburg University will play host to the second annual Penn-Ohio Volleyball League (POVL) Cross-Over matches on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in the Rudy Marisa Field House starting at 10AM. Waynesburg will joined by Robert Morris University, Allegheny College and Clarion University.

Jackets Drop Saint Vincent

WAYNESBURG, PA (Feb. 26) - The Yellow Jackets delivered a stellar performance against Saint Vincent College on Thursday night in the Rudy Marisa Field House in front of an excited crowd, winning 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-20). The match marked the first and final meeting between these two programs this season.

WAYNESBURG, PA (Feb. 13) – Men’s Volleyball took advantage of all five games in the match against West Virginia University. After losing the first two sets, (18-25) and (14-25), the Jackets took the next two, (25-17) and (26-24), forcing a fifth set before losing (6-15).

Waynesburg University Postpones all Weekend Matches

WAYNESBURG, PA (Feb. 6th) - The Men's Volleyball program announced this afternoon that the match scheduled for 7:30pm Friday the 5th against WVU and their matches at Duquesne Saturday, Feb. 6th have been postponed due to weather. The matches will be rescheduled and the new date and time will be available right here at www.waynesburgsports.com, the home of Waynesburg University Men's Club Collegiate Volleyball. This match will be the first of two clashes with the mountaineers this season and the first South Division match up for both teams this season.

WAYNESBURG, PA (Dec. 17) – The Waynesburg University Men’s Volleyball program announced junior, outside hitter, Jake Reynolds and sophomore, middle, Joel Wingard as the 2010 season Captains. Reynolds and Wingard will serve as the fifth and sixth captains in program history.
